Mzansi Magic visits Alberton

SA Olympic Health World was the scene for a new M-Net series called the The Mayor.

SCENE OF ACTION: SA Olympic Health World is proud to be part of a M-Net production.

ALBERTON- A new M-Net television series, The Mayor, chose SA Olympic Health World’s swimming pool to shoot one of its scenes.

In the specific scene, the Johannesburg mayor’s wife, who is not keen on water, is learning how to swim with an instructor. She has a tough time and at one point it looks like she is almost drowning and he jumps in to save her.

The mayor is played by Lucky Lekgodi and the swimming instructor is SA Olympic owner, Mike Hooper. The first episode of the series aired on Mzansi Magic at 19:00 on Friday, November 20. It is light comedic family entertainment not to be missed.
