Goldrush Bingo races to the Mall at Newmarket

South Africa’s biggest bingo operator, Goldrush, is soon to re-locate its current bingo operation in Alberton to the Mall at Newmarket.

This exciting new venue will feature a wide variety of electronic bingo games, a separate traditional bingo lounge and an upmarket licenced restaurant, 49’ers café, bar, and diner, aptly named after  the “gold-seekers” during the 1849 Gold Rush in America.

The electronic bingo terminals provide a range of progressive jackpots. The design of Goldrush Newmarket will allow patrons to enter via two entrances, either directly into the restaurant or into the bingo area where a welcome desk is conveniently located. Besides the sleek finishes, large screens will provide sporting action and more.

The Goldrush group employs over 1 000 employees and operates thirteen branches in Gauteng, Mpumalanga, North West and Eastern Cape provinces.

The restaurant opened on October 22 and the bingo area will open in early November, once the Gauteng Gambling Board has granted their final approval. To add to the excitement of this new branch opening, a car will be given away in early December.

The Goldrush group has and will remain a supporter and contributor of the National Responsible Gambling Programme.

The bingo area will be strictly controlled and only be open to patrons who are 18 years and older. A zero tolerance policy will be strictly applied to underage gambling and over consumption of liquor.
