Win a four-day cruise for two

A four-day cruise for two people visiting Maputo and the Portuguese Islands, to the value of R25 000, is up for grabs as part of the 75th birthday celebrations at Reading Country Club.

ALBERTON – Reading Country Club, once referred to by golfing greats Bobby Locke and Gary Player as one of the most beautiful parklands in the world, boasts a rich history and has gone from strength to strength since 1939, when a group of families got together and bought this 140 acres of land.

Exciting events are on the cards to celebrate this milestone at Reading. A three-day festival of golf on June 3, 4 and 5 will culminate with the draw of the grand prize, sponsored by Investor Travel, on Friday, June 6, during the prize-giving.

The golf festival is open to members and visitors alike, with green fees set at R250 per player if you play only one day, R450 per player for two days, and R600 per player for all three days. A prize-giving meal and fabulous prizes are included in the green fees.

All golfing entrants automatically receive entries into the big draw for the main prize as well as some others, including a midweek break for two to an apartment on the South Coast.

Tickets to win the prize are also for sale to non-golfers at Reading Country Club. Pop in for a drink or something to eat and make sure you get your tickets into the draw. For more information, contact the pro-shop on 011 907 3666.
