WIN: “Egg-citing” Easter holiday fun for kids at Carnival City

The Easter holidays have arrived, and for the stay-at-homers, there is a host of “egg-citing” activities and things to do for the whole family at Carnival City.

During the holidays, Carnival City has some Easter-themed activities planned. From 26 March to 13 April, children can have some fun posing for pictures in the themed photo booth, and on date, there will be a giant Easter Egg filled with chocolate delights for children to grab.

Parents can kick back in one of the complex’s many restaurants while the kids are kept entertained – or they can join the action.

“Keeping kids entertained during the holidays can be tricky business. At Carnival City, you have a host of fantastic options to choose from, all in one place. Round up the family and visit Carnival City where you are promised hours of fun,” says Michelle Smith, the Marketing Manager at Carnival City.

The Lazer Zone is a thrilling adventure for youngsters from six years up wards. Weaving their way through a three layered darkened maze, players must “hunt” their opponents and avoid being targeted. The game is made all the more exciting with light from UV lights and UV wall paint shining through the hazy interior created by smoke machines. The Lazer Zone is open from 10h00 till midnight during school holidays.

For those seeking more laidback entertainment, there is Carnival City Ster-Kinekor. The cinema complex boasts six plush cinemas, including two 3D cinemas, featuring state-of-the-art sound and visual equipment to ensure a crisp and clear experience. Carnival City Ster-Kinekor screens all the latest movies daily. Some of the family-friendly movies showing at Carnival City Ster-Kinekor over the holidays include Home in 3D, Cinderella and Strikdas.

Carnival City’s Magic Company Arcade is a popular entertainment hub for families with children of all ages. It provides a safe and stimulating environment for children to play and have fun while visiting the complex. The arcade boasts more hundred gaming machines and activities in a brightly-lit and colourful environment that is sure to hit the spot with kids. A popular attraction at the Magic Company is the #d simulator rides, which give youngsters of all ages a chance to take a heart-stopping roller coaster ride indoors.  The Magic Company is open from 10h00 to 02h00 during the holidays.

Linked with the Magic Company is the newly-upgraded Ten Pin Bowling arena where everyone can enjoy hours of fun pitting their bowling skills against friends and family. Outside, children of all ages can enjoy some racy fun on the simulated Grand Prix circuit, while younger children have a super selection of rides to experience in the theme park. Other outdoor activities include putt-putt, a timeless hit for young and old, and carnival stalls where youngsters can take a stab at winning prizes.

After hours of active fun, families seeking sustenance have a wide choice of restaurants to choose from. There is something to suit all tastes and desires, from a quick bite at the food court or a light lunch at Fego Café, to a hearty pizza at Giovanni’s or a steak meal at Squires.
