ALBERTON – This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be seen and taught by two of America’s most talented professionals in the music and film industry.
The acting portion of the workshop will offer tips on auditioning for TV and Film, how to analyse a scene for television and film, and performing a scene on camera, which will be analysed and critiqued.
The musical portion of the workshop will cover vocal warm-ups, performance coaching, a question and answer session on performance, opportunities in the industry and breaking into the business. Additionally, students will be afforded the opportunity to showcase themselves to the workshop presenters.

Henry Ravelo is a Broadway veteran (Miss Saigon, South Pacific, Anything Goes) and an accomplished master acting coach, who’s been responsible for the training of such success stories as Josh Duhamel (Emmy Award winner, Transformers, Vegas), Kelly Rippa (Live with Kelly and Michael, All My Children, TV producer) and when Donald Trump took over the Miss Universe Corporation, he was brought on to coach the winners of Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA.
Henry now heads the New York Office for Discover Management, a long-established company in LA; owned and operated by former Casting Director Debra Lynn Findon. Discover represents actors of all ages and all types for TV, film, theatre and other media in both Los Angeles and New York. Currently, we have clients starring in the new CW series, Jane The Virgin, Awkward, Meet the Browns, NCIS, The Vampire Diaries, Jersey Boys, Matilda and Star Trek Into Darkness. Henry Ravelo is the President of Six Degrees, a NY based Management Company who represents actors, musical artists, comedians and personalities. Together with Lucia Chang, formerly of ICM, they develop, manage and book clients throughout the US and around the world.
Lucia Chang is a highly accomplished and respected name in the music industry; artist manager, touring show creator and record label head of Sidecar Management and Sidecar Records. She was the talent booking agent for high-level musicians, comedians, and other special attractions at one of the largest talent agencies in the world, International Creative Management. There, she worked with such stars as Jon Stewart to Kathy Griffin, the Beach Boys to Drake, Lil Jon, Andy Dick, Tracy Morgan, Bugs Bunny on Broadway, Beyonce and the list goes on.
She began in this business by working from the bottom up; from coordinating several aspects of the CMJ Music and Film Marathon to working with artists like Marilyn Manson, David Bowie, Perry Ferrell of Jane’s Addiction, to being a music editor and journalist (interviewing bands including KORN, The Deftones, Clutch, Limp Bizkit, and several others), to working closely and scouting for record labels. She is now the president of her own company, Sidecar, and she is able to pursue her passion of managing and developing artists; giving them a chance to shine in the industry. Presently, Sidecar clients include the top cast members of Logo’s successful TV show, RuPaul’s Drag Race, punk rock goddess Courtney Love, kung fu world champion fitness lifestyle coach to the NFL, Sifu Karl Romain, Cary Nokey aka Rob Fusari, who discovered and wrote hits for Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Will Smith, and Jessica Simpson.
