Klipkoppiefees rocks on

Don’t miss it…let’s see you there.

ALBERTON – If there’s one event you have to attend this year then make sure you’ve diarised the dates of Friday May 30 and Saturday May 31 for the annual Klipkoppiefees held at Meyer Farm on the west side of Alberton.

It just gets bigger and better every year, says Willie Badenhorst III. He confirms the star attractions performing this year are Bobby Van Jaarsveld, Bok Van Blerk and Snotkop.

It’s important to book your tickets early, because last year the main tent was filled to the maximum before the show even started. The side flaps were lifted to ensure everyone could see Kurt Darren perform to a over-capacity crowd.

Overall you can’t beat Klipkoppiefees 2014 for value for money and a fun day out in the open with major events spread all over.

From the ever-popular 4×4 skattejag outdoor show, the star-studded event also features the sponsored mountain bike race around the picturesque klipkoppies area and the traditional fun walk through the klipkoppie estate.

But the event offers a lot more like flea market stalls, beer tent, food stalls and a huge arrangement of exhibitor stalls, featuring an arrangement of all the latest vehicles being launched.

A new attraction this year is the children’s adventure activities, which is sure to keep them occupied well through the day, while rugby is featured on the big screen for the adults who don’t want to miss the action.

You get to see all of this plus the three performing artists for R120 per person for the weekend… you can’t get more value than this.

Tickets are available from the NG Kerk Wes – phone Deona on 011 869 0001 from 09:00 to 13:00 everyday during the week.
