JOHANNESBURG – The Top 24 Finalists for 2014 were announced at the the annual Mrs South Africa CANSA Gala dinner officialy hosted by the current Mrs South Africa.
The glamorous event took place on Saturday April 12 at Emperors Palace.
Two finalists, one from Alberton and one from the South, made it through to the 24 finalists.
The finalists were revealed in all their glory at the event in aid of the pageants official charity, The Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA).
The Top 55 Semi-Finalists started their journey at the beginning of March and have been helping CANSA as health and fundraising volunteers working with CANSA staff to provide care and support to those affected by cancer. Last year (2013), the pageant and their finalists raised over R300 000 for CANSA.
The Top 24 breathtakingly beautiful finalists who will be contending for the crown are out to impress the 2014 Judges: Cindy Nell Roberts – Former Miss South Africa and Principle Judge, Simba Mhere – Top Billing presenter, Lourine Wannenburg – owner of Eden Moon productions, Marelize Steyn Earle – Former Mrs South Africa and Vuzi Zwane – Emperors Palace Executive. This formidable panel judged the contestants based on criteria that they believe the Mrs South Africa 2014 winner should embody.

“Mrs South Africa is a pageant of substance. We look for real women, women who are wives, mothers, and homemakers.
“They are ambitious, successful and businesswomen. Mrs South Africa is an empowering organisation, giving women from all around the country an opportunity to make their mark.”
On August 8, 2014, a month that celebrates women, will see the Grand Finale at Emperors Palace, where the new Mrs South Africa will be crowned. The night promises to deliver a glamorous affair that will celebrate all women from all aspects of life.
