Alberton Cobras Shotokan Karate Club bagged 52 medals in a provincial competition

Alberton-based karate club won 52 medals in the Goju-Ryu All Styles Karate Challenge and the club coaches are super proud of their students.

The Alberton-based Cobras Shotokan Karate Club attended the Goju-Ryu Goshukan All Styles Karate Challenge in Brakpan where 330 karate students from all around Gauteng attended.

This is an extremely competitive tournament, demonstrating the high attendance for this event.

The local club performed incredibly well, coming back with 52 medals in total.

The club practices on Mondays and Wednesdays from 17:30 to 18:30 (beginner lessons) and 18:30 to 19:30 (advanced classes) at Ascot Mews (19 Heidelberg Avenue, Newmarket).

The first two karate courses are offered free of charge to any interested person.
