Hoërskool Dinamika’s first team recently took on Zimbabwe in a cricket match under the U18A category.
Dinamika batted first and scored 309 all out after 35.1 overs.
Top performers with the bat were Dean van Onselen with 124 runs from 69 deliveries, Nathan Visagie with 61 runs from 47 deliveries and Ludique de Meyer with 53 runs from 34 deliveries.
Zimbabwe U18s replied with 145 all after 33.2 overs. The top performers with the ball were Mohammed Valli with 13/3 in eight overs, Mark van der Berg with 9/2 in 4.2 overs, and Devandre Clarke with 42/2 in eight overs.
Dinamika won by 164 runs.
The school congratulated captain Dean van Onselen who was awarded player of the match.
