Local pastor aims to empower women through her foundation

Pastor Nounoush Llunga's journey has been one of compassion, resilience, and persistent commitment to women's well-being.

As we are in August, a month dedicated to celebrating and empowering women, we turn the spotlight to a local pastor, Nounoush Llunga.

Llunga has committed herself wholeheartedly to the cause of women’s emancipation, becoming a living example of advocacy and empowerment for women in her neighbourhood and beyond.

She is a fantastic woman who founded the She-Lamb Global Foundation, an organisation dedicated to empowering women to discover their real self and become independent. Her unwavering labour and passion have changed the lives of countless women globally.

In addition to being a best-selling author and motivational speaker, she is pursuing a degree in psychology. Her scholarly endeavours demonstrate her dedication to comprehending and attending to the psychological requirements of the individuals she serves.

She said that her organization’s mission is to heal women and families globally on a spiritual, emotional, mental, and psychological level.

According to Llunga, the organization’s goal is to empower women in communities by helping them grow their skills, become independent, build safe havens in shelters, provide food and clothing to the underprivileged, and run feeding programs for the homeless.

“We have offered a haven of support to women victims of abuse, regardless of their background, tribe, religion, race, or status. At the core of She-Lamb’s values is the commitment to creating an environment free of judgment, where every woman is accepted and supported,” she said.

Llunga clarified that her efforts go beyond mere charity.

“It’s about giving women a sustainable future. My projects support women in realising their potential, regaining their self-worth, and leading independent lives. This all-encompassing strategy guarantees that the assistance given has a long-lasting effect on the recipient’s life,” the ambitious pastor said.

She emphasised in her closing remarks that as we commemorate Women’s Month, all women should find inspiration and be encouraged to take steps towards empowering other women in their communities.
