Alberton Boxing Club coach set to oversee SA champs
Alberton Boxing Club coach Pieter Strydom will be representing the club during this year’s South African boxing championships in Durban.
Coach Pieter Strydom of Alberton Boxing Club has been selected to be part of the South African National Boxing Organisation’s (SANABO) Youth and Elite National Boxing Championships in Durban.
He is set to leave on July 1, where he will perform his duties as a referee and judge at the championships.
“I was selected by Gauteng to go and officiate in the championships, as a Gauteng official. One needed to be nationally qualified or higher to participate in the SA champs. I’m proud to represent the club and to go share my experience during these champs,” Strydom said.
