Laerskool Randhart presents their team with awards at rugby ceremony

The Randhart Rakkertjies rugby team’s strength comes from this motto: “Ons glo!” (We believe).

Laerskool Randhart hosted an awards ceremony for the Rakkertjies, the school’s U6 tag rugby team after they competed against other schools.

The Randhart Rakkertjies battled it out with other schools from April 12 for the Friday Festival (Vrydag Fees) and on other dates closing the games off on June 8.

Competing against the Randhart Rakkertjies were schools like Laerskool Orion, Laerskool President Steyn, Laerskool Kempton Park and Laerskool Oosterkruin.

Rakkertjies staff and the coaching team honoured their boys with awards and trophies during the school’s farewell and Rakkertjies awards ceremony.

Randhart Rakkertjies tag rugby players were visibly excited about the awards, trophies and prizes being presented to them.

The Rakkertjies broke into song when Geraldine van Rooyen (rugby assistant) sat down and started playing the piano to celebrate the successful event.
