The young player was also selected by the Easterns Local Football Association (LFA) to represent their U10 squad which played in two inter LFA tournaments, in October.

One was hosted by the Easterns LFA at the Corinthians Club and another was hosted by the Durban Central Football Association in Amanzimtoti. Mpilo’s team won gold in both tournaments.

The player’s achievements come on the back of being awarded the U9 players’ player of the season at his previous club where he played in a defensive position.
