Shin-Gi-Tai Karate Academy wins big at the Dojo Cup Challenge2023
Local karate club, Shin-Gi-Tai, recently participated in the Dojo Cup Challenge2023 and won a total of 11 medals.
Alberton’s Shin-Gi-Tai Karate Academy took part in the Dojo Cup Challenge 2023 on September 2.
This is an interclub competition that welcomes martial arts practitioners of all ages and belt grades.
The local club obtained 11 medals in the recently held tournament.
The winners included Cindi Stapelberg (silver for kata and silver for kumite), Matthew Vetter (gold for kumite), Keon Buckley (bronze for kata), Keanu Mulder (gold for kata), Jaiden Samuels (gold for kata and gold for kumite), Declan Schutte (gold for kata), Demira Singh (gold for kumite and silver for kata) and Abigail Leite (silver for kumite)
