Cycle for a cause this International Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

As we step into the month of September, a #GiveSomeHope for the brave young souls embarking on the challenging journey of childhood cancer.

This is a month that symbolises optimism, unity, and the power of change. CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa invites you to play a pivotal role in this narrative of hope and transformation.

This September, there are myriad ways to contribute and uplift the spirits of these children and teenagers. Among the opportunities to make an impact, we present an event that encapsulates the spirit of unity and determination – the CHOC Cyclethon.

Proudly Supported by MyBidfood and Powered by Planet Fitness, this event promises a day of solidarity, sweat, and shared purpose.

The event will take place from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm (with one-hour time slots) on September 9 at The Piazza, Melrose Arch.

At the vibrant Melrose Arch, pedal alongside a community of like-minded individuals who are committed to making a tangible difference.

For five hours, we’ll cycle, sweat, dance, and sing – all in the name of supporting the children and teenagers who inspire us with their unwavering strength. Picture the camaraderie as 139 fellow participants join you each hour, collectively contributing to a shared cause.

Through the impactful CHOC programmes, your participation can provide these patients and their families with a home away from home, access to transportation, emotional support, nutritional assistance, and much more.
