Keagan Hutchins of Revival City College was selected to represent the Eastern Local Football Association for the U10 team.
It was an accomplishment for Keagan because he will represent the Eastern team in an interprovincial tournament later this year.
Karen van den Oever of Revival City College said: “Keagan has been playing soccer for a local football club since the age of seven. Since starting, he always played the position of a midfielder. This year, however, he decided to try out for the goalkeeper position.”
As a school, Van den Oever said they were proud that Keagan was selected as the goalkeeper with only six months of formal training.
