The national soccer team, Bafana Bafana will play Nigeria in the quarter-finals of AFCON this evening at 21.00pm.

Commenting at a press conference on July 8, well-known Nigerian and Africa retired soccer star, who has also played for various teams abroad, Augustine Azuka “Jay-Jay” Okocha, said that there is no question about Nigeria not winning. “I think they are a capable side and has a good chance to advance to the next round.”

At a press conference on July 9 at the South African Football Association, SAFA, Technical Director, Neil Tovey, said that Bafana Bafana has the ability to beat any of those sides in the quarter-finals. “They beat Egypt on Saturday and are playing good soccer,” he said, “And I think the players deserved the win. What will happen against Nigeria is in their hands.”
