Barbarians reach finals of Tshwane 10s

The Barbarians have reached the final the third year in a row.

THE Gauteng Barbarians took part in the Zando Tshwane 10s tournament on September 1 and 2 at the Harlequins Rugby Club in Pretoria.

Coming fresh from a final performance in the inaugural Zando Durban 10s, the Barbarians once again showed they are a team to look out for.

Reaching the finals of the Tshwane tournament for a third year in a row they faced a very strong SA Legends team which included players like Bakkies Botha, Warren Broznihan, Henno Mentz, MJ Mentz and Ngobani Bobo to name but only a few.

Unfortunately, they finished second but they have proved that nationwide they are the team to beat.

The Barbarians are already looking to their next tournament taking place in Cape Town in February 2019. The team is confident that they will come to this tournament even stronger.
