Varsity Netball continue their season

Varsity Netball will continue with round five next week.

• Maties brush past UJ to the joy of their home support:

The Maties netball team continued their strong start to the 2018 Varsity Netball season as they beat UJ 63-30 at the Coetzenburg Indoor Centre on September 3.

• Kovsies storm to top spot:

The Callie Human crowd was treated to a brilliant match in the fourth round clash between the UFS Kovsies and UWC, where the home side ran away with a 92-46 win.

• Tuks dominate Madibaz in Stellenbosch:

Tuks continued their resurgence and handed out a ‘netballing’ lesson to the Madibaz at the Coetzenburg Indoor Centre on Monday night, winning 67-39.

• NWU hammer VUT, remaining unbeaten in 2018:

In a high-scoring fourth round encounter between the North-West University and VUT in Bloemfontein, NWU were relentless throughout but just missed the century mark, scoring a total of 94 goals to 30.

NWU did not let up, with the whole team working hard as they aimed for a bonus-point win, but were just shy at the end of the game at 94-30.
