Alida Sequiera raised R13 000 in support of the CHOC foundation

Keep moooo-ving Cows.

ALIDA Sequiera, a member of Alberton Amateur Athletics Club decided to use her running shoes for a good cause and ran this year’s Comrades Marathon as a CHOC Cow.

The Cows use their lifestyle events as a way to raise money for CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation.

“My running partner, Gerrida Rorich, got me involved in CHOC, which is one of the six official charities for the Comrades Marathon,” said Alida.

“I decided to run my fifth Comrades for these kids who inspire me with their bravery.”

Through her efforts, Alida managed to raise just over R13 000 that goes towards helping children dealing with childhood cancer.

Alida expressed her gratitude to all that helped with the fund-raising.

“We were overwhelmed with support on race day,” said Alida.

“Keep moooo-ving Cows!”
