Mounted Games riders hit the ground running

Mounted Games championship take place in the South.

THE 2017 individual and pairs mounted games championship is being hosted by the Gauteng Mounted Games Association at Southern Riding Centre in Eikenhof from December 13 to 17.

Altogether 13 pairs teams from Kwa-Zulu Natal, Western Cape and Gauteng will compete on December 13 and 14 while 22 individual riders from all three provinces will vie to be crowned the 2017 champion after competing on December 16 and 17.

Four Gauteng riders have been awarded colours by the Gauteng Sports Confederation. The senior rider is Skyler Mac Farlane (Drie Riviere High) while Leigh-Ann Hayes (Waterstone Primary), Justin Smit (St Declan’s School for Boys) and Keenan Cronin (Orchards Academy) have been awarded junior colours.

Their coach and team manager is Daniel Ferreira.
