Dieselman soccer team get promising offer

This will allow the team to gain some much-needed experience, exposure and access to excellent coaching.

THE Dieselman soccer team recently got a very helpful nudge towards their dreams of football glory.

Lyle Bennett from the Rietvlei Astro League invited the team to take part in their series that takes place every Saturday until December 2.

This will allow the team to gain some much-needed experience, exposure and access to excellent coaching.

SWEET MEMORIES: A signed soccer jersey from the team’s match against St Martins School.

The team was started by Dieselman, a company in Alrode who got involved with youth in the area who would come in to ask for sweets, which then escalated to asking for a soccer ball and from there, the seed was planted.

The team have been fortunate enough to grow by getting the opportunity to play against schools, receiving their kit from charitable parties, having their transport needs seen to for free and now this amazing opportunity.
