ALBERTON has two teams from two high schools that are Golden Lions League winners this year.
Dinamika’s first team staged a massive comeback to beat Linden in the final of the Golden Lions League for big schools.
They thereby reversed last year’s result. The campaign was less than perfect, as they lost the opening two games this year and were beaten comprehensively by Alberton too.
But champions always find something from deep within and never lie down, and Namies’ first team victory is proof of that.
The second team is the u-15s from Hoërskool Alberton, who claimed victory against Randburg in a very hard game, to win their second successive title after winning last year’s u-14 title.
