MEMBERS of the Alberton boxing club did their club proud when they pulled off some great results.
Four boxers participated in an inter-club tournament, which was held on April 8, at the Bert Collins Boxing Club, in Springs.
Nine clubs took part in the tournament. The members from Alberton who held their own were: Peter Sam (15, runner up in the 58kg division), Manelisa Mabata (18, runner up the 58kg), Luca Thesner (won the 45 kg division) and Andre Kemp (won the 24kg division).
