Bracken High School sport successes

BRACKEN High School recently celebrated the successes of their rugby teams as well as two of the school’s hockey players.

The school played Golden Lions rugby league matches against Hoërskool Nic Diedericks on Saturday, May21, at Nic Diedericks.

The Bracken teams notched up some comprehensive victories, ensuring their qualification into the knock-out stages of the Golden Lions Middle Schools League; u.14’s won 17-7, u.15’s won 31-0 and the first team, the Bracken Bulldogs, won 33-7.

Two of the school’s junior girls made the Easterns provincial side for hockey.
