Big names at SA PGA

Eye of Africa, home to the only Greg Norman championship golf course in the southern hemisphere, will be home to this tournament for the next five years.

SA OPEN winner Brandon Stone, as well as the JHB Open winner, Haydn Porteous, are just two of the big names to tee off in the South African PGA 2016 tournament which will be played from February 25 to 28 at the Eye of Africa golf course, south of Johannesburg.

The PGA Championship is one of the most prestigious golf tournaments and richest sole-sanctioned events on the Sunshine Tour. Eye of Africa, home to the only Greg Norman championship golf course in the southern hemisphere, will be home to this tournament for the next five years.

Golf enthusiasts are welcome to come and watch their favourite players, including Richard Sterne, Trevor Fisher Jnr and Darren Fichardt, competing for this prestigious title. Entry is R50 per person and there are adequate parking facilities and shuttle services guaranteed.

The championship golf course at Eye of Africa, is most certainly a talking point among Johannesburg’s golfers. The course, from the first tee to the 18th green, integrates seamlessly with its stunning surrounds. Added to this is the new short game practice facility to be opened in time for the tournament.
