Prospect boxers make their appearance

Deejay Kriel beat Clever Mundunge on a unanimous points decision will be back in the ring.

THE boxing calendar will get off to an action-packed start when some of the new, up-and-coming boxers will make their appearance at “Prospects at the Palace II”.

The tournament will take place on Sunday, February 7, from 14:30, at Emperors Palace, hosted by AfricanRing in conjunction with Golden Gloves Promotions.

Deejay Kriel has made immense progress as a young boxer and is about to impress in the junior-flyweight division. He will hope to improve on his record by facing Khotle Morabedi. Brandon Thysse, son of former South African champion, Andre Thysse, will once again make his appearance in the middleweight division,

fighting Philip Dlamini, who will test him to the fullest.

The boxing tournament will once again prove to be a family and fun affair, so be there to support your boxer from the South or Alberton.
