Box Office: The relaunch of the gym in the South

The relaunch of the Box Office Gym will take place in February.

THE success of the Box Office Gym at the Southern Suburbs Recreation Centre is now the main reason for the gymnasium’s expansion.

Box Office will hold its relaunch on Friday, February 12, at the centre. The gym will be offering more training regimes that Anton Gilmore is designing and a personal training gym that will be run by six trainers as personal boxing coaching is all the rage at the moment.

Box Office will offer BullyProof classes for boys and girls using the same methods employed by Fight with Insight. The children will be taught – first impression, consequence to action, compassion and moving forward after an incident. These principles have helped make the Hillbrow-based project one of the best in the world.

Gilmore also offers women training daily from 17:00 to 18:00. Box-a-robics will take place on Tuesday and Thursday at 18:00. On Friday at 17:00 a class has been added and a special Saturday morning BoxFit Boot camp session from 07:00 to 08:30 is also on the cards.

Professional and amateur boxing training takes place on a daily basis.

Box Office has successfully trained high profile boxers from the South including Paul Kamanga, Josh Roos, Mike Mokoena, Siya Mabena, Jade Karam, Troy Da Paiva and Warren le Roux.

Box Office and Southern Suburbs Boxing Club will offer you fitness, body reclamation programmes and boxing classes. Contact Gilmore or Jacque du Plessis on 011 436 1678 or 083 653 0190.

Come and attend the relaunch in February where the Box Office prize-giving will also take place at 18:00. Boxing celebrities and champions will be there to sign autographs.
