Bidvest Wanderers claims the fourth RAM SLAM Catch a Million winner

Scott Watson became the fourth cricket fan to claim a share of the R1-million on offer in the RAM SLAM Catch a Million competition.

November is the month of million Rand catches as Bidvest Wanderers saw Scott Watson become the fourth cricket fan to claim a share of the R1-million on offer in the RAM SLAM Catch a Million competition.

Sitting in the Centenary Stand, row L, at the bizhub Highveld Lions vs Sunfoil Dolphins match on Sunday, November 22, Watson remembers moving his beer from his right hand to his left, in order to take the right-handed catch.

“I caught off Dolphins player Vaughn van Jaarsveld and beyond that I can’t recall much. I do remember being concerned about breaking my hand as I am going on a golf tour on Thursday and know how hard our cricketers hit the balls these days. I intend to split my winnings with my son, Josh, as well as our two friends that joined us today at this brilliant match,” Watson said.

Watson joins three other winners to date, namely Nkateko Shilubane and the two matric students, Christiaan Vlok and Jean de Wet, and should no further catches be taken the men will be taking home a handsome R250 000 each. With only 12 matches remaining, fans are encouraged to continue to attend games and stake their claim in catching a six and joining in the significant competition prize pot.
