The Unilimited Titans and the Department of Sport and Recreation will host the international sports exchange conference.

FIKILE Mbalula, South Africa’s Minister of Sport and Recreation, confirmed that he will officially launch one of the most comprehensive and wide-ranging international sports conferences and exhibitions yet presented in South Africa.

The Unlimited Titans and the Department of Sport and Recreation will host the international sports exchange conference in conjunction with the eight federations at SuperSport Park  from November 15 to 19. The world’s renowned thought leaders and experts, sport scientists and administrators will be in attendance.

Cricket South Africa (CSA), South African Equestrian Federation (SAEF), Tennis South Africa (TSA), the South African Football Association (Safa), SA Hockey and SA Chess will also be part of the conference.

On the opening day, the conference will run from 11:00 to 19:00 and from November 15-17 from 10:00 to 19:00.

The event will attract major sport manufacturing companies, national federations, sport attire firms, sport supplement companies, the fitness industry and sport academics.

“The exhibition will offer South African sport federations an opportunity to liaise with other industry role players which could enhance it both materially and professionally,” said Jacques Faul, chief executive officer of The Unlimited Titans.

“International sport has become a major commercial industry, with global stocks of more than a trillion rand in 2015. Therefore the exhibition also offers federations the opportunity to familiarise itself with international business trends,” said Faul.

Federations that would still like to attend the conference can contact Janie Potgieter on 083 627 7009 or janiep@cricket.co.za, or Kea Modise Moloto on 082 970 6035 or kea@kmmco.co.za
