Ticket sales for the Absa Currie Cup final at Emirates Airline Park on Saturday 24 October between the Xerox Golden Lions and DHL Western Province (13:45 kick-off) go on sale to the public on Tuesday October 20 from 08:00. Strictly no tickets will be sold to the public before this time.
Ticket prices for the final are as follows:

A: R300

B: R250

C: R150

D: R100
Season ticket holders can purchase their seats on Monday 19 October. Season ticket seats not taken up by 08:00 on Thursday will be released to general public.

“It has come to our attention that the incorrect information regarding our season ticket holders went out on Sunday and we want to thank them for bringing it under our attention. We honour our commitment to our Season Ticket holders as was issued on the official 2016 Season Ticket letter and would like to retract the previous statement,” said Rudolf Straeuli, Chief Executive Officer.

Season ticket holders will indeed have access to their seats for the final at no additional cost and will have the opportunity to buy additional tickets on Monday before tickets go on sale to the public on Tuesday.
The GLRU are also offering all Lions Season Ticket newcomers that purchase a Lions Season Ticket for 2016 during this week a complimentary ticket to the Final match at Emirates Airline Park for the 2015 ABSA Currie Cup.
“Our supporters are important to us and we would like to see all of our current and new Season Ticket holders at the Stadium. We want to encourage everyone to join the pride and defend the den with us”, Rudolf Straeulisaid.
The union understands the tough economic environment and therefore ticket prices for the final have been discounted compared to 2011 when the last final was held in Johannesburg. Ticket prices that day started at R150 with top end tickets going for R350.
