Medals galore for Cobras karateka

Cobras Shotokan karate club takes part in Shorin-ryu Shorinkan championship.

COBRAS Shotokan karate club in Brackenhurst took part in the Shorin-ryu Shorinkan Gauteng North Championships held in Pretoria on August 1.

Eight students from the club took part and brought back a total of 10 medals including six gold, two silver and two bronze.

The Cobras karateka train every Monday and Wednesday evening at Glenview Primary School in Brackenhurst.
