Charity boxing tournament in Primrose

Eleven Angels seeks to embrace those who are suffering.

THE Fighting for Angels boxing tournament will take place on Friday, July 24, at the St John’s Hellenic Hall in Primrose.

All proceeds will go towards 11 Angels and the Hellenic Community of Germiston Church Fund.

The Hellenic Community of Germiston Church Fund helps persons who are in need of shelter, food, education or medical assistance. 11 Angels embraces those who are suffering from a terminal illness or the indignities of old age and provides hope and relief from financial burdens, affording patients a better quality of life and more time to spend with their loved ones.

11 Angels and the Hellenic Community of Germiston Church Fund hope to use the boxing tournament, with the main fight between Osborn Machimana and Patrick Mazdinga, as an innovative marketing platform to extend their influence and to help support those that need it most.

St John’s Hellenic Hall is on the corner of Wychwood and Lobelia Roads. Tickets cost R200 per person and includes a buffet dinner. No tickets will be available at the door therefore contact Gareth Masters on 082 902 4035 to make a booking.
