New coach for Alberton FC

Alberton Football Club has a new coach. He is Darren Bedworth, who was assisting one of the Super League injured players in the league season’s opener at Alberton Soccer Complex fields.

ALBERTON – Coach Darren has over 15 years of experience in local and amateur football throughout his soccer career. His noticeable achievements include winning the Super League in 2013. When asked about his new role, the coach commented: “We have a new side that we are rebuilding. We have youngsters aged 16 and 17, so we are instilling new blood and a unique approach in how we compete in the Super League.”

Football fans and sport supporters are invited to support Alberton’s own soccer club team, which started as Shamrocks back in 1967, when playing home fixtures on 14:00 and 15:30 on certain Saturdays at the Alberton Soccer Complex.

“On the day of home fixtures there will be food and drinks available, all support is appreciated and encouraged to celebrate the proud tradition of amateur football within the Alberton community,” said the PRO spokesperson of the club, which is proudly sponsored by KARGO.
