ALBERTON – Well known sport quiz master Tony Nortje has teamed up with the just as well known Super Sport commentator Ockert van Schalkwyk to launch what will run over six weeks at about 20 venues all over Central Gauteng and the East.
Some of the confirmed venues are Boksburg Dros, Bedfordview Keg and Crow, sport clubs in Germiston and Primrose, Edenvale Grand Slam, Benoni Grapes Restaurant, Linksfield Keg and Beagle, Old Parks Johannesburg, News Cafe Meyersdal, Montiques Henly on Klip, Mel’s Pub & Grill, Verde Restaurant Boksburg, Zanzi-Bar Edenvale and more venues in Kempton Park, Vaal and Alberton still to be confirmed.
The sport categories for the quiz series are cricket, football, rugby, FI racing and general sport miscellaneous.
This Gauteng sport quiz will be the front runner for a big Gauteng sport quiz to be held towards the end of March over three months in 100 venues with big sponsors in the game.
