2014 Telkom Knockout draw

All 16 captains were present at the 2014 Telkom 16 draw.

2014 TELKOM Knockout (TKO) draw was held on Monday September 22 at SuperSport studio.
The first round will kick off on the weekend of October 4 and 5.

All 16 captains of the seeded and unseeded teams were present to experience the vibe of who they will take on in this much coveted trophy.
Telkom Managing Executive: Group Brand at Telkom, Themba Khumalo said, “In any long journey, you need to have partners that are strong. Football has been here, it’s part of our society, it will be here for a very long time, forever. And so will Telkom be here forever, and together we will build this beautiful game and thrill our fans and build this exciting nation of ours.”

The Chief Executive Officer of the PSL, Brand de Villiers, was pleased to continue the league’s long-standing relationship with Telkom, and is hoping to build on the phenomenal success of last year, especially in terms of viewership numbers.

“Telkom has been our partners since 2006, not only our partners in the Telkom Cup, but also as our suppliers, so we are very excited. The Telkom Knockout offers the 16 teams a unique opportunity to knock each other out in 15 games.

“And as for the fans, last year more than 200 000 fans came to the stadiums to watch matches live, and more than 22 million people watched it on TV, so the goal from the PSL is to increase the numbers both in stadium attendances and in viewership,” said de Villiers.
