Youngsters off to Brazil

Four young soccer players will represent South Africa at the 2014 Brazil Copa Coca-Cola camp.

FOUR young enthusiastic soccer players are off the Brazil and will have a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

The 2014 Brazil Copa Coca Cola camp will be held from June 10 to 15 in Sao Paulo, Brazil where the best players from countries across the world will interact with each other.

Luyanda Mdlalose, Khulekani Kubheka, Carl van Rensburg and Ndlozi Ndaba were selected to represent South Africa at the camp and were bid farewell on Monday June 9 for their big trip abroad.

These u.15 players were selected out of many soccer players in all nine provinces, where they had to undergo soccer skills as well as life skills tests in order to let the South African flag fly high in Brazil.

The one-week international football training festival brings together star Copa Coca-Cola players from across the world to enhance their football experience, form personal bonds and, above all, learn new skills in a first class football atmosphere.

According to the program, the camp will feature a well balanced mix of football activities and entertaining diversions to enable the young players to further showcase their talents, inspire confidence and prospects of becoming professional players through Coca-Cola youth football programmes.

While in Brazil the teenage players will experience a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attend the 2014 FIFA World Cup Opening Ceremony on Thursday June 12 that will culminate in a curtain-raiser pitting hosts Brazil against Croatia.
