Matriculants push pass rate up from 2014 to 2015 by four per cent.

PALMRIDGE High School is proud to announce that the school’s class of 2015 produced good results throughout the year increasing the pass rate with four per cent from 2014.

From the top 10 Grade 12 learners, three obtained good passing marks. Khethiwe Sibuyi obtained five distinctions while Keziah Pursoot obtained four with Bradley Naicker taking top honours with six distinctions.

Principal Hamraj Singh and the teachers could not stop praising the three top learners who proved that hard work does pay off.

“Our matriculants of 2015 have done us proud by increasing the 83 per cent pass rate in 2014 by four per cent to 87.5 per cent with a combined total of 50 distinctions. As principal of the school I am proud and grateful to our learners, parents, staff, community, SGB and Ekurhuleni South District for their assistance and continued support.

“In 2016 we endeavour to achieve a pass rate of 100 per cent for our matriculants. We are also moving in the direction of becoming a paperless school. I trust with the continued support of all stakeholders, this will be achievable,” said Singh proudly.
