Brackendowns CPF aims to hold corrupt officials accountable

Brackendowns CPF vows to the community to stay loyal and fight crime in the area.

As you know, the Brackendowns CPF is working hard to clear the area of not only criminals but those corrupt officials who assist them as well.

This month a very large operation, Operation Shanela, was held in the precinct with over 200 SAPS and other officials saturating the area.

As part of the operation, a visit was paid to a local alleged problem house known for a multitude of charges including but not limited to drugs, house burglaries, gate motor and beam theft along illegal electrical connections.

On August 24, officials visited the property again to remove children living in those abysmal conditions.
Not only were CPF members and officials threatened but the local kingpin made a phone call to a senior prosecutor at Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court for assistance.

Questions have to be asked as to why someone in a position of authority is on such a personal basis with these people.

This matter is going to be followed up on.

The time for accepting corruption is over. The community has the right to know what is going on in their neighbourhood in order for everyone to be safe.

That is why the Brackendowns CPF is busy with a number of partnerships for the benefit of the community like Sound and Safe where you or your family can easily summon assistance in an emergency.
