Thanking everyone who reached out to JP Enslin

Stepping Stone Hospice expresses their pride towards this kind community.

Stepping Stone Hospice would like to thank the community of Alberton for their kindness and empathy towards JP Enslin (an article was published about him on September 6, Page 3, titled “Recovering after a hit and run”).

JP is a sufferer of the life-limiting Huntington’s Disease, a neurodegenerative genetic disorder which affects muscle co-ordination, leading to mental decline and behavioural symptoms. He has recently been admitted to the Park Care Frail Centre in Parktown, Johannesburg, where he is said to spend his last days.

Stepping Stone thanks every person who bought a pen from him, looked out for him or offered him help in any way, and expresses their pride towards this kind community.

Thank you all for all your years of support and sympathy.

Truus Odendaal on behalf of Stepping Stone’s psycho-social services department.
