Note this crime hotspot: Potgieter Street in Alrode

I just want to warn people to be extra vigilant by the traffic light at the bottom of Potgieter Street in Alrode close to the bridge.

I work in Alrode and travel that street daily and I was almost hijacked. A man came around from the back of my vehicle to the left and tried to open my door.

Luckily there was no traffic in front of me and I was able to drive away. I know a great number of people use this road and just want to warn them and also ask authorities to patrol that area randomly if possible.
