Thank you Petunia and Barend

I want to compliment them.

I have reported potholes around the Alberton area to Petunia Mdakane from EMM for the past three years. She has been tremendously helpful to ensure each pothole reported is fixed in no time, most of the time within one week. ā€œYou are a star and always reliable. Thank you for the great service and comfort you put in my life. You are truly an example to others.ā€

Another man I found is Barend Deminey, he looks after the traffic lights in the Alberton area. On December 1 I sent him the following request: ā€œKindly assist to have the globes replaced at the traffic lights, corner Penzance and Voortrekker Road. There is always confusion who must go since the globes are fused.ā€ This was done by the December 6.

Another request read: ā€œAt the corner of Fore and Ring Road West, what is the chances that they can install an arrow to turn left into Ring Road West while the arrow is on for traffic turning right into Fore Street. In peak hour traffic, this robot takes extremely long to change green while waiting in Fore Street.ā€ This was done in the first week of January. Amazing.

On January 30 I took advantage again and requested something again: ā€œI know I am taking advantage now but it will also assist the traffic flow hugely at the following two intersections if the same thing is done and the corner of Ring Road West and Penzance Street and corner Ring Road West and Padstow.ā€ When I drove by on February 3, it was done.

I am delighted by your service. I really truly want to thank you for your outstanding service for putting up these arrows in such a short time. You are a true star since there is no such service found anymore. Keep up the good work and let your work shine upon your colleagues. They have so much to learn from you. I am very proud that I found you to deal with. Thank you very much for all your assistance.

Thankful – Alberton
