Amazing man helps a complete stranger

Denish Mahadeo has a heart of gold

Denish Mahadeo displayed absolute good-heartedness after helping a stranger who stood without petrol in Ring Road West.

The stranger, who happens to be me, stood all flustered in the middle of the road as my petrol ran out. Denish saw me and asked what was wrong. So I told him and he drove off, but soon returned with a five-litre bottle of petrol and helped me pour it into my tank.

I happened to mention to him that I took a chance driving without petrol, because I did not have money to fill up my tank. Without hesitation he stuffed R310 into my notebook, requesting that I use it for fuel. I tried giving it back to him, stunned by his goodness, but he insisted I keep it.

Now I would like to proclaim to every reader that Denish has a heart unlike anyone else I’ve met before. He had no obligation to help me, yet he did, and in such abundance too.

Denish, I am sure that you will go far in life with such an altruistic soul. You have inspired me and I am sure you will inspire many more people to be kind like you.Thank you from the bottom of my heart, sir!

Grateful
