I have reported the problem of the unbearable smell that comes from the veld opposite Jackson Street in Brackenhurst several times, to both the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality as well as the water and sanitation Department.
They have sent people to my house several times to confirm that I’ve reported it, but nobody ever solves the problem.

The RECORD has contacted the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality for comment, but they failed to do so by the time of going to print.
