Service falls flat at station

My wife received no help at a Vermooten service station

My wife Monica was on her way to work in Steeledale on Wednesday, October 14, at 07:50. While driving in Brackenhurst, she realised that her car had picked up a puncture and the rear tyre was flat on the rim.

Monica pulled into a petrol station and asked for help as she was unable to undo the wheel nuts.

She spoke to a man at the cashiers desk and asked if they can assist her to change the flat tyre, but he bluntly refused and said they do not fix tyres.

My wife explained that they don’t have to fix the flat tyre, but only help to fit the spare wheel to her car.

She was even prepared to pay someone to help her, but still the man refused and insisted that they don’t fix tyres.

Monica phoned me and I had to drive from Boksburg, where I work, through morning traffic, which took fifty minutes, to change the flat tyre.

Thank you for your non-existent service to the community and residents of Brackenhurst.

We will not fill-up with petrol, buy anything or wash our cars at your establishment any longer.
