I was asleep in my home in the early hours of Saturday, September 12, when someone threw half of a brick through my window.
If I did not have burglar bars, the brick would have not only damaged my property but also allowed criminals access to my home. I heard the sound of a scrambler motorbike leaving the scene of the crime on Saturday.
An investigation is currently underway to find the culprits behind the damage done to my home but I want to urge the community in Raceview to stay alert.
The people responsible will be brought to justice but while they are still at large residents should remain vigilant and careful.
