A big thanks from Brendon and his family

The family of Brendon Macdonald extends a warm thank you to all the people that supported them at the cycling day to raise funds for Brendon's medical costs.

ALBERTON- The life of 14-year-old Brendon Macdonald, a learner from Hoërskool Marais Viljoen, has been impacted greatly by progressive scoliosis and his family is doing all they can to pay for the operation he desperately needs.

With the help of DOC Mountain Bikers and The Circus Coffee Shop, a fun cycle ride was hosted on July 26 to help raise funds for his operation. The family is happy to report that the funds generated through this day, covers the doctors fee and they wish to thank everyone involved in the organisation of the fun ride for their efforts. Special thanks go to DOC Mountain Bikers for the organisation of the fun ride and The Circus Coffee Shop for their generous sponsorship on the day.

The family also wishes to extend a warm thank you to the cyclists, friends, guests, Miss United Nations SA, Desiree Oliphant and the entire Marais Viljoen family for all their love and support in this endeavour.
