I’m at my wits’ end

I've been trying to get my UIF application processed for four months and nothing is working.

I submitted my application for UIF benefits on March 9, and to this day nothing has happened.

I’ve been told to come back again and again to check for approval but nothing has been done. I submitted all my documents when I applied the first time but my application “has not been captured” depending on the person you speak with at the labour office. Despite having submitted all my documents my application remains uncaptured and not processed.

When I try to escalate the problem, I am told that my application is not on the system. I have been dealing with this for months and I don’t know what else to do! The service that I have received is terrible. I’m not the only one experiencing this problem. Every number that I have been given to enquire about the progress of my application remains unanswered.

I know that I’m not alone in this frustration.
