Send your complaints to Eskom: they should hear your complaints not us

I am also one of those people who is not prepared to sit back and accept the inconveniences and risks inherent in Eskom's load shedding.

ALBERTON – With no lights powered, security systems down, gates not functioning and fridges and fish tanks not operating, I feel for you. I have a generator which at least powers these.

The geyser is “off”, the stove replaced by gas and we have the microwave if needed. The Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) systems you refer to cost double that of a generator and when they fail, the ordinary homeowner can do nothing about it and will have to call for help.

Why don’t you direct your complaints to Eskom? I am sure that they will be able to assist you because like any other governmental concern, they will act for you. The Metro Police have their hands full with real crime and traffic offences.

The reason Eskom persists with their shenanigans and SANRAL with their e-tolls is because of people like you who cannot act for themselves. Try some DIY.

“Self sufficient”
