Quick problem solving by EMM

I would like to share something positive about my experience of service delivery from Ekhuruleni Municipality.

ALBERTON – In an era where we seem to spend our days complaining about bad service delivery, I thought a pleasant change would be in order.

My issue is not a “once off” fluke. I have an ongoing issue with a blocked sewerage system. The cause is the roots of a tree in my neighbour’s yard.

As a result, I have to call on the municipality at least every two or three months to come and clear solid waste that would normally flow through the system if not for the roots.

As I noticed the level of the toilet rising after flushing this morning, I immediately called the 0860 543 000 number, at about 09:15. I was immediately sent an SMS with my reference number, and by 10:45 my problem was solved.

Thank you Isaac, Sipho and Shadow for speedy service and friendly smiles despite the horrendous challenge you face with every call-out.
